Privacy policy

PCS Wheels is a vehicle-listing search tool for the US military community stationed near Vicenza, Italy. This page describes exactly what the site stores, why, and how to get it removed. It is written to be short enough that you will actually read it.

Browsing is anonymous

You do not need an account to search listings. We do not ask for your name, your unit, your rank, or a .mil address — and we never will. We do not operate on, or connect to, any government network.

What we store

• Usage analytics. Page views, searches, listing opens, and clicks through to a dealer. These are counted first-party in our own database. They are tied to a random ID that lives only until you close the browser tab. There are no third-party trackers, no advertising pixels, and no cross-site profiling.
• Marketplace accounts (only if you create one). Your email address, the listings you post, their photos, and the messages you exchange with buyers. Your email and phone number are never shown to other users — messaging runs through the site.
• Server logs. Standard web-server records including IP address, kept briefly for security and debugging.

Cookies and browser storage

We use no advertising or tracking cookies. The complete list:

pcs_session	Cookie. Keeps you signed in to the marketplace. Set only if you sign in. Strictly necessary.
pcs_faves	Local storage. The cars you saved. Stays on your device and is never sent to us.
mp_session	Session storage. A random analytics ID, erased when you close the tab.
pcs_analytics	Local storage. Records that you opted out of analytics, so we can keep honouring it.

You can switch analytics off at any time from the notice on the homepage, and we honour your browser's “Do Not Track” setting automatically.

Who else is involved

• Fly.io — hosts the site (EU region).
• Resend — delivers sign-in codes and message notifications.
• Google Fonts — serves the site's typefaces; Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
• Stripe — processes payment only if you buy a paid listing upgrade. We never see or store your card details.
• Dealer websites — vehicle photos are loaded from the dealer's own server. We strip the referrer so they are not told where you came from.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any government body.

How long we keep it

Analytics records are aggregate and retained indefinitely in that form. Marketplace listings are removed after they sell or expire. Delete your account and we erase your listings, photos, and messages.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Email christian@aipexlabs.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

Children

The site is not intended for anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change what we store, we update this page and its date. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage.
